CONNECTIONSSIENA KNOWLEDGE BASE

Wallets & networks.

Understand the account, chain and signatures behind every action.

Your Siena profile

After signing in, select your wallet address in the website header to open Profile. It shows verified and provisional swap volume, Genesis rank and estimated prize, campaign entry tasks, and linked X and Discord accounts. These figures are activity statistics, not a wallet balance or withdrawable reward.

You can copy your wallet address, open its Base or Arbitrum explorer page, connect X or Discord, join the Discord server, or disconnect your Siena session. Social authorization started from Profile returns there. Linking social accounts alone does not enter Genesis; complete registration on the campaign page. Qualified wallets can register before trading opens.

Disconnecting ends the website session. It does not revoke token allowances or unlink X/Discord. Account replacement and unlinking are not currently available in Profile.

Connect the wallet you intend to use

Siena supports direct transactions from MetaMask and OKX Wallet browser accounts. Choose the matching option instead of assuming the browser’s default extension is the one you want.

Use the same wallet account for the website session and the transaction. If you change accounts, reconnect so your session and signing account match.

For Genesis, your entered wallet must send the swap directly to the designated router. Smart-wallet batches, sponsored or relayed transactions, and ERC-4337 EntryPoint transactions are not supported. An EIP-7702 account can qualify when it sends the supported direct transaction itself; using a delegated batch does not qualify.

Understand wallet requests

Always read the chain shown by the wallet. If it differs from your intended network, cancel the request and correct the selection in Siena. The same contract address can exist on more than one chain.

RequestWhat it does
Sign inProves wallet ownership for the Siena session. It does not authorize token spending.
Approve tokenWhen remaining allowance is too small, authorizes the current token balance for Uniswap Permit2. Later trades reuse the remaining allowance. Most tokens reduce that allowance as it is spent; a new approval is needed when the remaining amount no longer covers a trade. This is not an unlimited approval.
Permit2 permissionA typed-data signature authorizes the selected Universal Router to spend up to your approved amount for one hour. Signing costs no gas, but grants spending permission. Sufficient unexpired permissions are reused.
Confirm swapExecutes the reviewed trade. Tokens and gas are spent if the transaction succeeds.
Clarity is part of the product.
