Event rules

Genesis · Rules v1.13
01Campaign & eligibility

The organizer can create a Genesis entry directly for a wallet without prior sign-in or social connections. Organizer-created entries and assigned competition totals appear in public provisional rankings and can enter reward review. These are administrative records, not proof of wallet consent or executed swaps. General eligibility requirements and final review still apply.

Siena Genesis is Siena’s first competition, a seven-day swap-volume event with a fixed 10,000 USDC prize pool. Registration is open before the event for wallets that complete all entry tasks. Eligible trading opens on 22 September 2026 at 03:00 UTC. Registration and eligible trading close on 29 September 2026 at 03:00 UTC. The start is inclusive and the end is exclusive; trades before confirmed entry or at/after the closing timestamp do not count.

Participants must be at least 18 and legally permitted to participate where they reside. One person or entity may enter with one wallet only. Siena team members and accounts controlled by the organizer are excluded. Connecting a wallet alone does not enter the campaign: click Join Genesis, link your X account, verify membership in the Siena Discord server and confirm entry with acceptance of these rules before or during the event. A verified X tick is not required for Genesis. Each X and Discord account can be associated with only one participating wallet. A pre-approved social-task exemption may waive X and Discord requirements for a wallet; it does not waive any other eligibility, entry, volume or review rule.

Discord membership is checked through Discord authorization. Complete any server membership screening before verification. Verification must be no more than 15 minutes old when entry is confirmed. Your registration timestamp is recorded only after all tasks pass; linking accounts or clicking the Discord invite alone does not enter you. Only eligible swaps after that timestamp and within the event period count. Regular swaps and wallet volume remain available without entering Genesis.

The same entered wallet may trade on Base and Arbitrum One. Both networks contribute to one combined ranking. Robinhood Chain, testnets and all other networks are excluded from this event.

02Eligible swaps & volume

All supported Siena swap pairs qualify in both directions on Base (8453) and Arbitrum One (42161): USDC/WETH and USDC/USDT. The designated Universal Router is 0x6ff5693b99212da76ad316178a184ab56d299b43 on Base and 0xa51afafe0263b40edaef0df8781ea9aa03e381a3 on Arbitrum. Only the Siena direct-pool transaction template, with a verified 0.19% output fee paid to the designated project wallet for that network and transaction time, qualifies. The fee recipient is shown in Fees & execution details. Changing the project wallet preserves earlier qualifying swaps; transactions already prepared may use the previous recipient for a two-minute transition. A fee transfer alone does not qualify. Native Circle USDC is the accounting asset. Unsupported tokens, bridge transfers and external DEX trades outside these designated routes do not qualify.

The supported route uses one Uniswap V3 pool and ERC20 tokens. Native ETH swaps, wrapping or unwrapping inside a swap, V2/V4 routes and multi-pool routes do not qualify. The entered wallet must send the transaction directly to the designated router. Smart-account batches, ERC-4337 transactions through an EntryPoint and relayed transactions are not supported for Genesis. An EIP-7702 wallet may qualify when it sends this same direct transaction itself; a delegated batch does not qualify.

Each qualifying swap must have at least 10 USDC eligible notional. The minimum was lowered from 100 to 10 USDC on 23 September 2026 and applies throughout this Genesis event window; trades must still follow confirmed entry. For USDC input, count the full USDC sent to the pool. For WETH or USDT input, count the net USDC received after the Siena fee. Smaller swaps cannot be combined to reach the minimum. One USDC is one unit of competition volume; this is a USDC-notional metric, not an independently priced USD valuation. The two legs of a swap are never added together.

The canonical block timestamp must be at or after both your entry time and the campaign start, and strictly before the campaign end. A transaction submitted before the deadline but included after it is ineligible. Transactions are provisional until verified against the canonical chain; reorganized or reverted transactions are removed.

A chain ID and transaction hash count once. Splitting trades does not earn a bonus. Quotes, approvals, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, failed transactions and demo activity never add volume.

03Ranking & fixed fees

Eligible volume is summed across Base and Arbitrum and ranked from highest to lowest. No points, transaction-count rewards, streaks or multipliers apply. Equal volume is resolved by earlier campaign entry; if entry timestamps are identical, the lowercase wallet address in ascending order decides.

The Siena fee is fixed at 0.19% of the gross token output from the pool for the entire campaign. DEX pool fees, network gas and price impact are additional. The fee and reward schedule will not be increased or reduced during the event. There is no volume threshold to unlock the pool.

Displayed rank, cutoff gaps and prizes are provisional snapshots. Other trades and eligibility review may change them. A displayed gap is not a promise that a subsequent trade will achieve that rank.

04Prizes & unfilled positions

The published allocation is: rank 1 — 1,500 USDC; rank 2 — 1,000; rank 3 — 750; ranks 4–5 — 500 each; ranks 6–10 — 350 each; ranks 11–20 — 200 each; ranks 21–30 — 100 each; ranks 31–50 — 50 each. Total: 10,000 USDC.

Only eligible wallets with positive qualifying volume receive a rank. Disqualified accounts are removed and remaining accounts move up before rewards are calculated. There is no additional minimum-volume requirement to collect a prize once an eligible wallet earns a winning rank.

If fewer than 50 eligible ranked wallets remain, the full 10,000 USDC is distributed among them in proportion to the standard prizes for their final ranks. Calculations use micro-USDC, round down first, then assign remaining micro-USDC by largest fractional remainder, with better rank breaking ties. If no eligible wallets remain, no prizes can be awarded; Siena will publish the outcome and retain the pool for a separately announced event.

Redistribution is calculated after final review. The live leaderboard displays the standard allocation, not an inflated estimate based on temporarily unfilled positions.

05Fair participation

Prohibited activity includes one participant entering multiple wallets, trading between commonly controlled accounts to fabricate volume, coordinated circular trades whose purpose is reward farming, exploiting accounting bugs, falsifying evidence or circumventing eligibility restrictions. Ordinary buys and sells, arbitrage or automation are not disqualifying by themselves.

Shared funding sources, similar timing or a common exchange withdrawal address may trigger review but are not sufficient alone to disqualify a participant. Review must consider transaction evidence and behavior. Excluded volume and disqualifications must have a recorded reason; no arbitrary volume haircut is applied.

An accounting correction may change a wallet’s Genesis volume after evidence review. Corrections retain the original transaction record and a recorded reason, remain subject to appeal, and cannot change finalized results.

The organizer may request relevant public transaction hashes or a wallet-ownership signature. Siena will never request a seed phrase, private key or payment to release a prize.

06Review, appeals & payout

Provisional results and any exclusions will be published within seven calendar days after the event ends. Participants have seven calendar days from that publication to appeal, identifying the wallet, disputed transactions and reason. Appeals are submitted through the official Siena project account, @0xSienaHQ on X; never include private keys or seed phrases.

Final results and appeal decisions will be published within seven calendar days after the appeal window closes.

Rewards will be distributed within 14 business days after final results are published, in native USDC on Arbitrum One to the same winning wallet. The distribution method will be announced on Siena’s official X account, Discord server and website. No claim deposit or payout fee is charged by Siena. Participants are responsible for their own applicable taxes.

Use a wallet you control that can receive USDC on Arbitrum One. A smart contract wallet deployed only on another chain may not be accessible at the same address on Arbitrum. Lost access or an incompatible wallet cannot be fixed by changing the payout address after entry.

07Interruptions & rule changes

These rules and the announced schedule are fixed when entry opens. Operational announcements are published on Siena’s official website, X account and Discord server. Trading may be paused to address an incident; no new volume accrues from failed or unavailable swaps, and the published end time is not silently extended.

Indexing delays do not invalidate otherwise eligible canonical transactions. If an outage prevents the stated review or payout timeline, Siena will publish the affected step, reason and revised date. The prize pool is not reduced because trading volume is lower than expected.

If security or chain integrity makes a fair result impossible, Siena will publish an incident explanation and verifiable cutoff. Eligible volume through the last reliable cutoff determines the distribution, including the unfilled-position rule. If no reliable eligible results exist, the zero-winner rule applies.
