QUICK STARTSIENA KNOWLEDGE BASE

Your first swap.

Connect, review, approve and swap. Four deliberate steps, with your wallet in control.

Private testing access

During private testing, Siena may ask for a project password before you can open the app. Enter the password shared by the Siena team. This does not connect your wallet or approve token spending.

Access lasts up to seven days in the same browser and domain. If the password or access settings change, enter the current password again. Preview and the main domain unlock separately.

Before you start

Use MetaMask or OKX Wallet with tokens and some ETH for network gas on the chain you choose. Native ETH pays gas; WETH is the ERC-20 token used by the current swap route. Holding ETH does not automatically give you a WETH balance.

Start from Siena’s official website or a preview link explicitly shared by the project. A preview may still use real tokens when execution is enabled.

Your balance and Max

The You pay panel shows the selected token balance for your signed-in wallet on the network selected in Siena. Your balance refreshes automatically. Use the refresh button to check again; Max becomes available after the balance is loaded.

Max fills the full token balance without rounding away token precision. It does not submit a transaction. You still review a quote and confirm in your wallet. ETH for gas is separate from USDC or WETH, so keep native ETH on the selected network.

If the balance cannot be loaded, Max is unavailable. A balance does not enable unsupported pairs or bypass the route’s amount limits.

Make your first trade

  1. 01

Open Swap and choose the correct network. Choose an available pair and enter an amount.

  2. 02

Use Connect wallet in the header and sign the Siena login message. This creates a website session, not a trade or spending approval. The connection dialog closes after sign-in succeeds; select your wallet address to open Profile.

  3. 03

Estimated receive updates automatically when you enter an amount or change the pair. Choose tokens from the You pay and Estimated receive selectors. No manual quote refresh or countdown is needed. Review the fresh output and minimum shown when signing.

  4. 04

Choose Review swap once. Siena reuses the connected wallet and checks your remaining allowance. If it is too small, approve your current token balance; USDT may first require resetting a nonzero allowance. If needed, sign a Permit2 permission for Uniswap Universal Router, limited to your current balance and valid for one hour. Siena then obtains a fresh quote.

  5. 05

Siena automatically opens the swap request after preparing the fresh quote. There is no second website button. Check the displayed minimum output and inspect the wallet’s network and transaction before signing.

  6. 06

Save the transaction hash. Use Refresh transaction status to follow verification. A successful on-chain swap shows a small confirmation with a transaction link and a brief celebration. You can dismiss it; reduced-motion settings disable the celebration animation. Open Profile from your wallet address in the header to see Verified and Awaiting verification volume. Swap focuses on the trade, route and transaction progress. Confirmed swaps appear provisionally after Siena checks the transaction; your total refreshes automatically while the page is visible. Finality can take tens of minutes on Arbitrum. The Last update timestamp shows when the displayed verified volume was last updated, in English with a fixed UTC timezone. Verified volume updates start after a 15-minute cooldown; scheduler timing, chain finality and query processing can add delay. This is not an exact 15-minute update guarantee. If an update fails, the previous verified totals and their actual update time remain visible. Recently confirmed swaps remain provisional until synchronization completes.

Follow the swap progress

The Swap progress panel follows your wallet check, token allowance, fresh quote review, wallet signature and on-chain receipt. The current step glows; completed steps show a check. An existing allowance completes that step without another approval.

A rejected request or expired quote stays on the affected step with a message. After submission, the panel updates automatically when the transaction is confirmed. Wallet and network response times can vary. A confirmed swap does not mean its volume has been finalized yet.

After trading

Your received tokens belong to your wallet. You do not need a separate Siena withdrawal to use them. Network gas and token balances are maintained by the chain.

Connecting or swapping does not automatically enter a competition. Genesis entry requires completing the campaign tasks and confirming entry. Qualified wallets can register before trading opens.

Clarity is part of the product.
